Let me introduce myselfA Single Mom Raising a Baby Hello my name is Gina and in December, 2002, I found out some news that would change the rest of my life; I was pregant. I was terrified but also very excited. Then on July 4 2003 I met the little man that melted my heart and made me feel a love I had never felt before and I named him Cody Patrick. I never thought in my life I would ever love someone as much as I love my son. We have been though good times and bad times, but in the past three years he has taught me a lot; not only about him but also about myself. I have learned though experience and though reading my articles and books about children. But no book knows your child the way you do. And some things work for some children while other things work for otthers. I have also learned if you need help or advice ask another mom they can tell you what they did and sometimes it works and then sometimes you just have to add your special touch to it. And that is what I hope to do with this website - help you out by telling how I dealt with different situations, giving advice or just to listen to your opinion.
Guess what? Nothing is wrong with you. I have found out we all go though it, whether you are a mother, father or single parent, you are not alone and hopefully I can help you and maybe we can help each other. This is my first website so bare with me while I try to get it up and running, but trust me, there will be much to come and I am very excited to do this.
